Facebook and other social networking sites have become a big part of pretty much everyones life, most people in the world are connected these days. I think facebook has the same amount of pro's as it does con's. Facebook is used almost at every time of the day, whether you have it on your phone or laptop, it seems to consume most peoples time during the day. Which is classed as a bad thing, no one meets anymore, they just talk or skype on facebook or whatever, but i guess facebook is good for keeping in contact with old friends and meeting up with people if they dont have a phone or you dont have their number.

Jennifer's Body

I just finished the thriller movie, Jennifer's body. I watched it at school with Sanda and Maria. It was so twisted. 

The synopsis:

Demon possession, devilish cheerleaders, and Satanic rock stars are all on the chopping block with this horror comedy from the production team behind Juno. Screenwriter Diablo Cody provides the script, with producing duties handled by Jason Reitman and Dan Dubiecki. The story centers on an impish high-school student (Amanda Seyfried) who has to protect her town against her best friend, Jennifer (Megan Fox), who after being bedeviled by an evil rock band, develops a taste for human flesh.

Weird right? But anyway, it turned out to be one of those movies that are like a little bit scary while your watching them, but not scary enough to give you sleepless nights. Those are the kind of movies i like, i don't really want to be up all night imagining her standing in my room. UGH! No thank youuuuu.

my 5 year plan

Where will i be in 5 years? Well.. i'll be 20 years young and I change my mind pretty often about my career but i've always had 2 options hidden at the back of my head, a DJ or a Tattoo Artist.

I know heaps of people that always judge me for wanting to be those 2 things, thats why i usually just make up something random to say when people ask me what i want to be in the future. I love drawing and music, probably 2 of my favorite things, so i would like to do something with them when i'm older. I can only draw when i'm in the mood, and i've kind of stopped drawing in the last 6 months. But i'm hell into music at the moment and i've already started DJ school... Also my dad has a lot of friends that are DJ's and they always help me and teach me whenever i want. I'd love to own my own Tattoo Studio, like a really good one, that has a cool theme! I've always wanted to do that.. But you know, those
are just dreams and i'm worried that i'm not going to be anything when i'm older, i've always had that feeling, that i'm never gonna be anything. But hopefully i'll be something and i'll succeed in it as well. I've always wanted to go to Africa as well, i'd love to adopt an African child but you know, too much hard work hahaha. I want to be in a long term relationship by then and i want to be living together etc. So yeeeeeaaah.

how to get a job

i'm going to show you how to get a job, the easy way.

first, you'll need the essentials, resume, cover letter, choice of job, good looking outfit etc.

then you just need to e-mail the person you want to work for, attach all your documents.

after that, you'll need to arrange a meeting and show up for it, fingers crossed it goes well.

then when you go to the meeting, sit up straight, act comfortable, and easy going. Be professional.

now all you have to do it go home and wait for an e-mail or call saying you got the job, if you do not receive a call or e-mail then go try another place.

visitors

its that time of year when a few visitors are coming from Australia!!!!!!! My brother, Sasha, is coming next week on Thursday and i'm sooooo excited! Its almost been a year since i've seen him and he's gonna be staying with me for 2 weeks while he's here!! PARTY TIME!! And almost i'm super excited that my best friend, Mia Keane, is coming back to Bali next week also! She used to live in Bali and went to Canggu Community School but she moved to Australia and it's almost been 2 years since i've seen her!! She's gonna be staying with me also for a month!! I cannot wait, its gonna be a crazy couple of weeks with both of the most important people staying with me!!

that one person

the one person I look up to and that has changed my life is my big brother, Sasha. He is almost 17 now and lives in Australia.. He used to be really naughty and we would run a muck when we were around each other, but now he has grown up a little and is my role model. I've always loved him, even when he and mum fought every day about everything, we are best friends also, and we don't do anything without each other. Mum doesn’t believe that he has changed into a good person, so that’s why she won’t let him come to or live in Bali anymore, he used to visit a lot, but now mum has banned him from coming to Bali. I’m super excited though, because he might be coming to Bali in September! We haven’t seen each other since the end of last year when we had a big fight, but we have gotten over it now and we both feel really bad about what we said to each other. I can’t even explain how he changed my life, but all I know is that he is a big part of my worldddddd. He is such a gentlemen to everyone, but it’s kind of annoying that he is so protective over me, that’s the only thing he needs to work on. He won’t even let me go anywhere of a night time without him, and when he’s in Bali, when he sees me hanging out with my friends somewhere, he makes me get on his bike and he takes me wherever he is going. Its so annoying, but I still love him to pieces <3 best brother ever.

work experience

Last week, Sally Garrett and I did a work placement at Billabong Indonesia. The first day on the job, we got to organize a whole photo and video shoot for Billabong Asia to go on Australian and Asian TV. The campaign was about "WIN A TRIP TO BALI!", on Tuesday we got to do the photo and video shoot, we woke up before sunrise and headed to Nusa Dua beach, we starting filming us running with the surf boards, playing on the beach, and in the water. At lunch time we headed to a small warung in Kuta, after we finished our lunch, we went to Halfway Kuta Beach for the surfing part of the video. That was such a loooooong day, wow! The rest of the week was pretty boring, just stayed in the office and did paperwork. We went to a meeting at the warehouse in Denpasar about a family fun day for the Billabong staff in September, then we sponsored Febri Biawak Hansa, a Javanese boy who is like a little brother to me. We decided to sponsor him not only because he rips in the water, but also because he has no place to live, no income, and no education here in Bali. Billabong is now providing for him by sending him to school, giving him a salary and a place to live. Febri has always been like a little brother to me, he is my everything. We grew up together and i have known him since he came to Bali, he lived with me a couple of years ago for a few months, such a great kid, i'm so proud of him Work experience was a good eye opener, we had fun and boring times, but all i know, is that i NEVER want to work in an office. That's that.

every day is a holiday

Summer holidays are always exciting and fun! My summer holidays were pretty fun, I can't really explain what I did specifically but usually just went to the beach almost every day as per usual, sleeping in of a morning, waking up at lunch time, heading down to Padma for a chilled afternoon, sunset drinks with the crew, you know how Bali lifestyle is. There was a few birthdays and parties going on, and in Bali, any occasion is a cause for a celebration. I went to a couple of surf comps with Aysia, she came in 2nd place for the Legian Beach Festival Contest at Padma Beach, another cause for a celebration. A week or 2 later, I went with Nadia, Marketing Coordinator of Billabong Indonesia, to another surf contest down at Halfway, we met up with Sally, Reo, Frances and the Padma Boys. Nadia and I went home early to get ready for the Beach Live Summer Music Festival in front of Beachwalk, and what a night! Probably one of the best nights I've had! Such a great way to end my holidays, I can't wait for the next one!
